Subject: Petit Manean V4 Tug

Sir, I just found your web site and a woman was looking for someone who sailed on the Petit Manean. My Dad sailed on the Manaen as a Deck Engineer. He went on the ship in San Franscio Ca. 1944 They left the bay with other tugs V4 class towing several sections of a Floating Drydock out to Manas Is. Then up to the Philippines for the invasion.

Then After towing several ships out of the battle area they returned to the US. F.M. Cottle Jr. US. Merchant
Marine. I hope that this will help Mrs M Smith
