Letters

Reginald Douglas Stevenson and Cecil C.Baines both lost with HMS. BOADICIA on the 13/6/1944

January 29, 2011

Hello,

Firstly a big thank you for having such a interesting and very helpful web.site.I am researching my Uncle Acting
leading seaman Reginald Douglas Stevenson (and also his best friend Ableseaman Cecil C.Baines ) who were both lost with HMS. BOADICIA on the 13/6/1944.

One of my other Uncles married the widow of Cecil Baines and adopted his baby son (my cousin Ian) so our family connection to the ship go deep.I realise I am "clutching at straws" but I was wondering if there is anyway to forward my contact information to any of the contributors who have a connection with the  BOADICIA; ERIN HARRIS, JAMES HERON or TOM KNOTT (I tried E-mailing to the web address Mr.Knott supplied but the mail wasnt delivered) !

I realise they contributed some years ago, so if putting this letter on your site is the best option I would be more than happy if you were to do so,

with many thanks,
Peter Stevenson
