My great uncle Gordon Hamilton was also connected with HMS Boadicea and there is a suggestion that he was a survivor of the sinking, he certainly attended the post war reunions but would never discuss it.

Have you heard any further from Mr Heron who had the list of Boadicea survivors Also of interest is that he became the first person to rise from SBA (“scablifter”) to Wardmaster Commander.RN
