Chief Petty Officer Tremba in the Sea Raven which rescued 33 brave Australians

August 20, 2010

Hi Mac.

My name is Tom Tremba and my father was a Chief Petty Officer in the Sea Raven which  rescued 33 brave
Australians
. My Dad did not talk a lot about his duty in WW II  but did tell of his affection for Australian
servicemen. I have read various articles about those Aussies and the Sea Raven.

Awesome.
Tom Tremba

Hello Tom,

My thanks for your mail.

This story of the rescue of 33 Australians from Timor by the US Submarine Sea Raven makes compelling reading.

Best regards,
Mac.
