Medal from Holland: Grandfather who was sunk by the Japanese in a Dutch cruiser in 1942

This came from Holland by mail today, and is the Medal for the gentleman's Grandfather who was sunk by the Japanese in a Dutch cruiser in 1942, he survived but has since died.

Here is a picture of my grandfather Kpl Hendrik Springer Dutch War Medal.
The metal plate on top ( Krijg ter zee 1940-1945 ) War at Sea 1940-1945.
Below ( Javazee 1841-1942 ) Java Sea 1941-1942.
