Immense fire power of a United States Navy Battleship: USS Iowa fires off a full broadside of her 16 inch guns.
It was the constant bombardment during my time in the Pacific War, particularly in Shropshire, that caused my Tinnitus, a constant ringing in both ears, it never stops, and although one gets good at shutting it out in your brain, at times is goes so loudly, that it is impossible to shut it off. No known cure, and it is always worse when at night it is quieter. |
