Andrew Roberts new book The Storm of War was published by Penguin Books in 2009
It has been said that if in one's life time you buy but one book about WW2 then this should be that book. I agree entirely with those sentiments. Of all the books I own or have read in 50 years about WW2, The Storm of War stands out as the definitive book on that subject. It is history at its very best, it grabs you by the throat and does not let go for a long time after you have closed its back cover. Thoroughly recommended, go out and get yourself a copy.
