Who would have the rights to a movie about the voyage of the Seeadler?

I do not believe a movie has been made on the voyage of the Seeadler. Any idea who would have the rights to such a project? I am looking into the possibility of such a project and need to know if an option to produce is available.

Mike,

I do not know how there would be any rights to producing a movie about Seeadler, unless you are using a particular recent book such as Blaine Pardoe's Cruise of the Sea Eagle as the basis for your screen play.

I do not set myself up as an expert in this arena of movie making.

How would you propose to set up the story?
