still under the impression of this dramatic WW2 episode I wonder if meanwhile alls facts have been assembled and
verified, e.g. coluld the DNS of the body of the unknown sailor on Christmas island be linked to any of the crew-families of the Sydney?

I believe that DNA was compared without any positive result.
