Surviving the Athenia

Dear Sir;

My father and uncle were on the SS Athenia along with mother. They were returning to Canada spending the summer with family in Scotland.  All three
survived.  Both my father and uncle would be more than happy to share their story with you.

Also noted on another site that a gentleman (Simon Nash) from the BBC Natural History Unit was looking for survivors but was informed there was no
remaining survivors alive.  I can connect him with two very alive survivors.

A few years ago I was chatting with someone who was a survivor in the US and exchanged emails but have since lost the address.  He also indicated that
there was survivors in Australia.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Marsha Clyne

Marsha,

Thank you for your message, since I wrote to Simon I have found a number of Athenia survivors very much alive.

Please do share your Father and Uncle's story with me. so we might add it to our growing pieces on that disaster.

I will tell Simon about your offer.

With best wishes to you all for 2007.

Regards,Mac.
