Spoon with Athenia crest June 14, 2009 Hi I have a silver plated spoon with the same crest shown on you web page ahoy.tk-jk.net It says on the back that it was manufactured by SM.CO, I was wondering if this was a souvenir spoon or from the boat itself. Thank you for spending time to read this, and I hope you can shed some light on this spoon. Darren I suspect your spoon is a souvenir, with the Athenia crest thereon. I could not track down the SM. CO, who may well have gone out of business at this distance in time. The saving of Souvenir spoons as a hobby is not so prevalent today as it once was. Best regards, |
