SCHOOL BOOK FOUND 1945: HMAS Warramunga

I HAVE A JAPANESE SCHOOL BOOK ELEMENTARY CALIGRAPHY PRACTICE ONE ARTS DEPT .MY WIFES WORK COLLEGE DECIPHERED THE JAPANESE BUT ON THE COVER IS WRITEN IN THIS SPELLING

KAMAISI SCHOOL 15 SEPT 1945 W.W.MOORE H.M.A.S WARRAMUNGA


Hello.
 
HMAS Warramunga an Australian built Tribal class destroyer was present in Tokyo Bay for the Japanese surrender on Sunday September 2 1945, as I was in the cruiser HMAS Shropshire.

I suggest that WW Moore was serving in Warramunga at that time had been ashore called in at the school and signed the book then.
