RMS Oronsay (I), Doing some research

HI Mac:

I’m a chap living up in Maine who came across a correspondence you were having with someone about the RMS Oronsay (I), just now in doing some research. I was planning on just adding a few words to the chain to see if the gentlemen you were corresponding with had any use (free) for copies of any of the materials I had. I had bought some boxes of old memorabilia, and in it were some items about this vessel (for example, one thing I am looking at now is its Luncheon Menu (from 18 May 1926). There may be much more, I don’t know. He just seemed so earnest in wanting to know more about the vessel, I took a chance on writing you and seeing if it was worth passing along my info.

Warm regards,

Bob Young, Mechanic Falls, MAINE (USA)

Bob,

Thank you for taking the trouble to write, I will contact Mike White in California and ask him if he would like to take up your kind offer?

I am interested in how you found my AHOY site, did you just put RMS Oransay into your search engine and find me that way?

I am sure that Mike will answer with a very positive yes please!!

Back to you soon.

Best regards from OZ.

Mac. Gregory.

Mac

Dad was a second steward on the Oronsey pre war so chances and he served from that same menu although closer to war time.

Please forward this Email to "Bob".

Since we corresponded I have actually been in touch with several family members of the Crew.
