RM R S Dobbs survived the sinking of the Curacoa Curacoa I was interested to read your account of the sinking of the Curacoa. My father was one of the 101 survivors and for many years we ran a society called 'Men of the Curacoa' for the survivors and relatives meeting annually There are only a couple of survivors still alive that I am aware of now. Of Regards Valerie Gell
Thank you for taking the trouble to write about your Father and his survival from the sinking of Curacoa, a nasty affair, and so many sailors lost after she was run down by QM. I have had a number of E-Mails from both survivors and their relatives but not from a lady in Canada. Best regards, |
