Dear Sir,

I am researching a signed photograph of Prince Edward ( later King Edward V111 )

The Photograph is of Prince Edward in high ranking naval uniform, and there is a signed dedication as follows :-

HMS Shropshire  Malta to Cannes  Aug 1932 signed Edward P.

Any information on this voyage, or Prince Edward's connection with HMS Shropshire would be greatly appreciated.

I apologise for taking so long to respond, but I have been away from Melbourne up in Sydney.

However, after an exhaustive search, I have not been able to turn up anything about the photograph you are wanting info on.

Just a complete blank on all the different avenues that I have tried.

Should I eventually have some success, I will get back to you.
