Mother was engaged to someone on the Hermes

July 24, 2011

I have just found your site with pictures of the Hermes around 1931. (Photos of aircraft and HMS Hermes, the first aircraft carrier built for the Royal Navy)

I have a few photos of The Hermes and one of Colonel and Anne Lindburgh. My mother was engaged to someone on the Hermes and I have been trying to find out his name. However I only have his initials which I am sure is not a lot of help. They are HFM.

Is any of this of interest to you?

Ann Shreeves
