Mauretania or Nieuw Amsterdam last sailing 1945

Hope you can help.

I am trying to find out the date of the last sailing of the Mauretania or the Nieuw Amsterdam, 1945, from Liverpool to New York or Canada carrying troops home.

I believe my friends father would have been on one of these ships.

I do so hope you can help, or event point me in the right direction.

I could not unearth the last troop voyages of Mauretania and Niew Amsterdam from Liverpool to North America.
