My uncle who I never met was on the H.M Trawler Ellesmere which was went down on the 24th Feb 1945 I was really interested in your articles I was very proud of my uncle and my grandmother who lived with us never ever forgot him she had an other son in the Royal Navy Alex Ingram who survived the war but as I was not born till after the war never really thought about it until you get older and everyone in my family has died and you have no one to ask I do have some photos of my uncle with some of his mates. (see "Ernest Claude Baster served in Le Tigre, lost in HMS Ellesmere which was sunk by U-boat 1203" )
