Lt Cdr William Davies, killed on HMS Voltaire in April 1941

I' m researching my family tree. I came across a relative of my great grandfather who was killed on HMS Voltaire in april 1941. His name was Lieut Commander William Davies from Aberdaron Caernarfonshire. I would be extremly grateful if any further details were available about him.

Terry,

I continue to be suprised of the number of people who contact me about a relative who was aboard HMS Voltaire when she was sunk. I have to look through the book Sailors in Cages for yet another name, and at that time will keep my eye out for any mention of your Great Grandfather Lt Cdr William Davies.

Thank you for your message.

Regards,
Mac. Gregory.
