Liberty Ship, Star of Kodiak, NOT scrapped?

Mac,

In response to the report that the Star of Kodiak, ex Albert M. Boe has been scrapped, the vessel pictured in your letters section is NOT the Star of Kodiak or Albert M Boe.  In fact, the ship does not look much like a Liberty at all!
 
At any rate, have a look at the attached picture of Star of Kodiak & compare with the bow shot of the vessel being towed & you'll see some distinct differences.

Thank you for your comments.

The original report did say that the ship was converted to a fish cannery, this could well have changed her profile and appearance.
