Hello there,

My Uncle was wounded at Gallipoli and evacuated to Malta. He was discharged and sailed for Alexandria on the HS KOREA (typed quite clearly on his dossier) but, looking at the digital copy on the net it could be "Koroa"????.

I am having trouble identifying this ship, can you help please regards

HM Transport Koroa sailed from Malta on the 26th. of September 1915 for Alexandria.

This could well be the ship you seek, but it was not a Hospital ship but a Troop Transport.
