Flags worn by ships in the late 1930's when "dressed overall"

Hi Mac,

Am doing some research into the order of flags worn by ships in the late 1930s when "dressed overall" I have just about established the order but need a photo that shows a clear view of a County Class cruiser's flags from Foremast to Main and Main to stern. These ships appeared to have the longest lines and I am about 6 flags short!

Thought you might have a prewar of Canberra or Australia in your files.

Thanks for any help.

Bruce,

I have just loaned my CD with all my RAN ship photos on, but I cannot recall seeing one with a County Class ship dressed overall.

Vic Cassels in Queenslad who wrote the book" THE CAPITAL SHIPS" may have such a photo.

I suggested you call.

Best regards.
Mac.
