Father served on the 'British Petrol' in 1930

(see this letter "Father was on board the first ship sunk by the Widder, M.V. Britsh Petrol" this letter "Brother was aboard British Petrol" and this article "Widder")

Dear Mac,

My father, James William Harris (1907-1997) served on the 'British Petrol' in 1930 sailing between Swansea and the Persian Gulf as it then was known. I have a reference from the master which assisted my father to gain employment after he came ashore . Is there any material in the BP archives at Warwick University do you know?

Regards,
Nigel Harris.

Nigel,

I asked that question of Warwick University, but they did not repond to my question, sorry I could not be of any help to you.

Regards,
Mac Gregory.
