Emlyn Williams was an engineer on the Hospital Carrier St David when she was sunk off Anzio and survived

My father Emlyn Williams was an engineer on the Hospital Carrier St David when she was sunk off Anzio and survived. Not sure where the survivors were taken but his brother in law who was in charge of naval stores gave them clothes thought they were merchant navy. I attach a bw photo (his copy) of a painting of the sinking and a colour painting I found on the net. I have several WW2 photos of her in Hospital ship guise.

Regards,
Selwyn Williams
