Edward Francis McSweeney VX43944

August 17, 2013

Hello Mac

I am trying to find out how the above Australian Soldier was captured and any details of where he was incarcerated. He was in the 4 Reserve Motor Transport Company which travelled on the “Sibajak” to Singapore in 1941.

Mc Sweeney played for the Australian Rules Club Essendon. I am currently researching all the AFL players who have had war service and would welcome any further detail.

Yours Sincerely
BC Cullen
