Just found your note of 2011  with reference to the uss jacksonville tanker. It was the ship that master Edgar Winter (my father) commanded.I WOULD SO ENJOY HEARING FROM YOU.

It is always exciting to hear from someone who is actually related to the Master of a ship about which I have written, not just related but his Daughter.

Thank you for writing, I do enjoy my contacts around the world that emanate through AHOY. Having reached the age of 91 it is a great comfort to meet such a lot of nice people on the Internet!!
