"Eadie" rescued from the Athenia? January 17, 2009 Subject: athenia sinking information request Hello there! I was so happy to find your website. My mom recently told me that her mother was one of the ones rescued from the boat along with her two kids. The last name is "eadie", and apparently had their pictures taken for the montreal star or gazette, but i have been unsuccessful in locating the photo. Can you help? My computer skills are novice, but would make mom very happy to get her to a website to find these photos.I'm sure this is an unusual request but it would really help if you can find the time to reply.
