Dan Snow diving on Empire Heritage (a book for a TV series) September 23, 2011 Dear Commander Gregory I read with great interest the exchage of letters with Rush Webb Sandusky relating to Empire Heritage, and I wonder if it would be possible for you to pass this email to him. My current project is a book for a TV series (BBC next year) by a well known English historian-presenter, (see "Lewis Wilfred Le Page was an able seaman on board the H.M.S. Transylvania when it went down on August 1940" Dan Snow, called DIG WW2, and one of the ships on which his team are diving (the series involved dives and digs) is Empire Heritage. I am hoping he would be willing to offer a few lines of eye witness evidence - nothing demanding - just an idea of the ship he was on, position in convoy, what he saw.
