Dear Sir

I am trying to track down a relative - Chales Frederick Mead - born c.1868 Fareham, Hampshire, England and served with the New Zealand arm of the Royal Navy between possibly 1913 - 1921.  Said Mr Mead was never heard of again after disappearing either voluntarily or having been killed in New Zealand or in the N.Z Navy.

Please let me know where I could begin to find out about his service record.
