Captain Class Frigate, HMS Bentley

Sir;
My brother Bob served onboard the above-named frigate after it was transferred from the US to the Royal Navy in November, 1943. It is apparently an Evart Class in the US.

I have been unable to find any info. about this vessel, I would appreciate any help you can provide.

I will send some detail on HMS Bentley, and a little about the Captain Class of which there were two classes, the Evart class as you have indicated is the one to which Bentley belonged.

I could not find a photo.
